Information - "Plug & Play" Modular Scoreboard Kit
Flexibility
The "Plug & Play" modular kits are available in
multiples of the single panel LED display. A kit for a
cricket scoreboard
comprises 9 digit tiles; a kit for a combined
cricket & AFL scoreboard
comprises 14 digit tiles. The system is modular
so clubs can build a board in stages eg.
initially purchase 5 digits
(eg. Overs/Runs), use existing manual digits
for wickets/target, then later purchase the additional digits. The kits are a good
option for clubs who want to upgrade an existing
scoreboard or assemble their own board to
minimise cost.
Easy to install and use
The modular kits are ready to mount on an
existing scoreboard plate or new backing plate.
The only preparation required is to mark and
drill the mounting and cable holes on the
backing plate. When the kit arrives, mount the
digit tiles on the backing plate, connect cables
between digit tiles and to the controller, and
type in the IP address/password in the web
browser.

Smartphone, Tablet, Kindle scoring
Use your smartphone, tablet or kindle to
score. The live scores will be immediately
visible on the scoreboard. The webserver controller uses WiFi so any
smartphone, tablet device or kindle with a web browser can connect
to the scoreboard and be the touch screen
controller. The Kindle (modified) for Scoretrack
can be purchased for $200 and used as a
controller. The Kindle Paperwhite has best
visibility outdoors in direct sunlight and has long battery life.

Custom
design
The modular kits can be custom designed to
client requirements. Using the kits, the
scoreboards can be reconfigured to any sport and/or reconfigured
to combine two sports on one scoreboard, which is relevant if two clubs
share one home ground.
Low cost
The modular kits
are good value for money. No longer do
clubs need to spend huge dollars on a
scoreboard. There are also significant savings in shipping costs due to the compact size
of the digits and low weight
of the digits.
